Short version of the below textwall: Go to the following link, sign up, download the program, and join the team called The Society: http://www.whatpulse.org/
Hey everyone! I’d like to tell about WhatPulse, a neat little program that counts how many keys you type, clicks you press, and miles/kilometers/meters you move your mouse. Don’t worry, though—it’s not a keylogger. It only counts the number of keys you type, not in what order. Once you have a decent amount of keys that you want to show off on your WhatPulse profile (you’ll need to create an account on the site to use the program), just double-click the “W” in your taskbar (if the “W” is not showing up after you’ve downloaded WhatPulse, send me a message). You can download it from here: http://www.whatpulse.org/
The WhatPulse site that I linked above also has some pretty cool features, such as teams (as you can probably already tell). I'm planning to implement some fun things if we get enough users, such as battles between the The Society and the main Kongregate team (they volunteered to participate, and if Kongregate Elite changes their mind about interteam battles, a 3-way battle would be interesting...). I'm also looking for other people who like statistics to help me update the blog (that I'll create once we get a few members going) with various statistics, such as top users by keys/clicks, etc (however, if I get no volunteers, I can do this myself). So yeah, please sign up for WhatPulse, download the program, and join the The Society team! I'd really appreciate it :D
How to join teams: go to the home page of WhatPulse, sign in to your account, and scroll down until you see the widget on the left side of the screen that has your username as the title. Click the “Teams” link, and use the page that appears to join The Society.
